Hi…may I ask about the pros and cons of the First Years True Fit Recline. I love the detailed information you have on the other pages and would love similar info. Thanks!
How did you know that’s the next review we’re working on?! It should be up within the next few days.
In a nut shell, it’s like the regular True Fit, but with smaller bottom rails and a flip foot on the bottom—flip it forward for rear facing installation and flip it back when you move to the forward facing installation. The seat also comes with a center angle indicator in the front for use when installing in the rear facing position. This new easy to read indicator will help you determine if you have installed your seat correctly. For infants, it helps you make sure you have a 45 degree recline, and when you want to install it a bit more upright for older babies who are still rear facing, you can ascertain if the angle is at the recommended 35 degrees. Also, both side LATCH attachments were moved to make it easier to access when installing the seat and they are easy to secure when you remove the seat from your vehicle.
The Premier has a rebound bar that the Recline doesn’t have.
