Hi,
I am debating between the Britax Marathon, the First Years True Fit, and the Diono. I have read good things about the Diono, but don’t know anyone who owns one. I have a 14 month old and am worried that the lack of an armrest will be uncomfortable. Thoughts?
Thanks so much. This site is great.
Take care,
Kim
I think any rear facing child is super comfortable without an arm rest, and at 14 months old, there is no need for one. My hunch is that an arm rest is something you enjoy once you’re used to it, but when you don’t know what you’re missing, you are comfortable anyway
I happen to think the lack of arm rests in certain car seats is beneficial when you are crunched for space.
You can’t really go wrong with any of the seats on your list. All are great with unique benefits. All have great safety ratings. And all should be comfortable for your baby
